Chef Tracey Marionneaux’s Sweet Revolution Pop-Up at Red Rooster Overtown’s The Creamery - Miami, FL
For foodies with the biggest sweet tooth, Miami restaurant Red Rooster Overtown by Marcus Samuelsson is hosting a limited-time dessert pop-up at its ice cream shop, The Creamery. Pastry chef Tracey Marionneaux is returning to her old stomping grounds to launch this limited-time dessert paradise. It will run from October 23 to November 9, operating Thursdays and Fridays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The pop-up features a rotating menu of handcrafted treats, including eight limited-edition gelato flavors made with locally sourced ingredients — such as Birthday Cake, Red Velvet Oreo, and Yuzu Pineapple Basil Sorbet. The menu also includes special desserts like lemon pound cake and a strawberry milkshake, along with beverages paying homage to the chef’s Chicago roots like South Side Lemonade and Chi Chill. Marionneaux says, “This menu is deeply nostalgic for me, it celebrates my grandmother ‘Sweetie Pie,’ who taught me that desserts are about love, tradition, and community. By blending Chi-Town flavors with my own creative spin, I hope to give Miami a taste of where it all began for me.”
Mexico City’s Pujol is Headed to NYC for a 12-Night Residency
This November, Michelin-starred Pujol is packing up its Mexico City kitchen and heading to Manhattan for a 12-night residency to celebrate its 25th anniversary. This dining hotspot will set up shop in the Financial District’s WSA building from Tuesday, November 11, to Saturday, November 22, with seatings at 5 and 8 p.m.
Enrique Olvera first opened Pujol in Mexico City in 2000, and since then, it’s topped the bucket list of foodies worldwide. As of now, the restaurant has been tight-lipped about the menu for the 8-course meal at the NYC pop-up, but insiders say guests can expect Olvera’s popular, classic, and culturally rich dishes. Fingers crossed that the mole madre makes the menu. Reservations are now available on Resy, and the tasting menu will run you $295 with optional $195 beverage pairings.

Drinking Pig Takes Cleveland, Ohio
This viral BBQ concept first gained popularity in Miami in 2020. What started in Chef Raheem Sealey’s front yard became a pandemic-era culinary standout. Since closing the downtown Miami pop-up in 2024, Drinking Pig has been giving Cleveland a taste of its tender brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and Southern-style sides, during weekly pop-ups at the Farmacle. Miamians, we do have good news for you, though: Drinking Pig will be returning in 2026, opening an official brick-and-mortar in the Coconut Grove neighborhood.
