Chicago’s summer scene is about to get a major upgrade. From August 28–30, Culture Shock Golf Weekend brings together the best of golf, music, fashion, and nightlife for a three-day experience that’s anything but traditional.
More than just a tournament, this groundbreaking weekend blends the precision and prestige of the game with the rhythm and energy of Chicago’s diverse cultural scene. Participants will split their time between the greens of Harborside International Golf Center and the city’s hottest venues, celebrating community, style, and sound.
Weekend Lineup
Thursday, August 28 – The Warm Up
Puttery | 7 PM–11 PM
Kick off the weekend in style at Puttery. The warm-up party sets the tone for what’s ahead: good music, great vibes, and the perfect chance to connect before the competition.
Friday, August 29 – Culture Shock Golf Tournament
Harborside International Golf Center | 12 PM Shotgun
The centerpiece of the weekend. Players will hit the immaculate fairways of Harborside for a high-energy tournament celebrating the game we love, surrounded by community.
Friday, August 29 – Golf Tournament Afties
Harborside International Golf Center | 4 PM–8 PM
The celebration continues right off the greens and features a special performance by Twista. Drinks, music, and camaraderie keep the momentum rolling into the night.
Saturday, August 30 – Swing Suite Day Party
Five Iron Golf Bucktown | 2 PM–6 PM
Day three kicks off with an interactive twist. The Swing Suite party combines golf simulators with a day party atmosphere.
Saturday, August 30 – Closing Night Party
Fame Nightclub | 10 PM–2 AM
The grand finale. With the best of Afrobeats, reggaeton, and today’s hottest hits, the closing night party at Fame promises to be unforgettable. One of Chicago’s sexiest nightclubs becomes the ultimate backdrop for the perfect ending to Culture Shock Golf Weekend.
