Hey Curlynoires!
Kim Lewis, co-founder of the popular natural hair care system, CurlMix, is asking for her community’s support in a new campaign to #ProtectCurlMix — as her business faces possible closure.
“This has been the most difficult year in business,” Lewis shared in an emotional Instagram video.
Since making its “Shark Tank” debut in 2019, the Chicago-based clean beauty brand has been a staple in the natural haircare space. But despite its success, rising costs, tariffs, and shrinking funding opportunities have strained operations.
To keep Kim’s dream alive, CurlMix has launched the “Protect CurlMix” campaign and product bundle — they’re hoping to sell 20,000 orders within the 60 days to ”protect Black ownership, preserve Chicago jobs, and keep making what our community needs.”
