Russell and Nina Westbrook brought together athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists for an evening of poker and purpose at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

On Friday, September 18, Russell and Nina Westbrook hosted the sixth annual Why Not? Foundation Poker Night at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, bringing together an influential mix of athletes, celebrities, entrepreneurs, poker professionals, and supporters for an evening centered on philanthropy and connection.
Held in the resort’s exclusive Poodle Room, the annual fundraiser paired high-stakes entertainment with a larger mission: expanding opportunities for young people and underserved communities.
Eventnoire was among those in attendance, joining the Westbrooks and their guests for an evening that demonstrated what happens when influence, community, and a shared purpose come together.
More Than Just a Poker Night

Presented in partnership with the World Poker Tour Foundation, the event brought the competitive energy of tournament-style poker to one of Las Vegas’ most exclusive settings.
Between hands, guests connected over a shared commitment to the Why Not? Foundation’s work. The evening offered an opportunity to strengthen relationships, support a meaningful cause, and engage with a community spanning sports, entertainment, business, and philanthropy.
With sweeping views of Las Vegas and an intimate setting, the Poodle Room provided a fitting backdrop for a fundraiser that has become an annual gathering for the Westbrooks and their supporters.
Beyond the poker tables, the evening supported the Why Not? Foundation’s ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation.
Founded by Russell Westbrook, the foundation focuses on education, workforce development, and mental health and wellness, helping young people and underserved communities access the resources and support needed to build their futures.
Now in its sixth year, the annual Poker Night continues to bring together individuals and organizations invested in advancing that mission.
The event reflects a larger approach to philanthropy, using the relationships and resources within the room to support work that extends far beyond it.
Eventnoire in the Room
For Eventnoire, the evening was an opportunity to support the Westbrooks’ philanthropic work while connecting with leaders across sports, entertainment, and business.
Eventnoire founder Jeff Osuji attended the fundraiser and expressed his appreciation for the Westbrook team, the people brought together, and the mission behind the event.
The experience also reflected a central part of Eventnoire’s own mission: creating access to experiences that bring people together, strengthen communities, and open doors to new opportunities.
Building a Legacy Beyond Basketball

Russell and Nina Westbrook have continued to use their platform to invest in young people and communities through the Why Not? Foundation.
The annual Poker Night is one expression of that commitment, bringing together supporters who can contribute to the foundation’s work while building relationships that extend beyond the event itself.
Six years into the tradition, the fundraiser continues to connect philanthropy with sports, entertainment, and business, demonstrating the role that thoughtfully curated experiences can play in advancing a shared mission.
For Eventnoire, it was a privilege to be in the room and support an organization committed to creating opportunities for the next generation.
Congratulations to Russell and Nina Westbrook and the entire Why Not? Foundation team on another year of bringing their community together for a meaningful cause.
