From December 1–7, crowds gather to enjoy world-class art fairs, exhibits, pop-ups, activations, and of course, epic parties and Instagramable moments. Art Week at The Shelborne
Dec 1–7, 2025 | 1801 Collins Ave, Miami Beach
Shelborne’s Miami Art Week series features Pilar Zeta’s “The Observer Effect” Beach Installation as the artistic centerpiece at 18th Street. Guests can recharge with daily wellness hours, enjoy Casa Bosques bookshop pop-ups and creative talks, and wind down each evening at The Bar with Sound Sessions — showcasing DJs like Todd Terje, TEED, and singer Justine Skye. McDonald’s x Arte Haus

McDonald’s partners with Arte Haus to transform a space into Unc’s Arte Haus — a vibrant, immersive showcase of emerging Black artistry and culture throughout Art Basel week. Guests can expect art-filled dinners, energetic brunches, late-night parties, and menu remixes from top chefs, all infused with McDonald’s creative flair. Featured experiences include the Las’ Lap VIP Opener hosted by Chef Kwame (Dec. 3), Family Dinner & Roast featuring comedians Deon Cole, Teccara Williams, Lance Woods, and Comedian CP (Dec. 5). Backyard Brunch with Jeezy, Justine Skye, and FAMU’s Marching 100, with McDonald’s menu items remixed by celebrity Chef Kwame, Chef Kimmy Kreations, and Chef Nancie Greene (Dec. 6). Airbnb x Art Basel Miami Beach

Bison at Basel (Howard University)

Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts returns for its fourth consecutive Miami Art Week — presenting five days of panels, exhibitions, salons, and mentoring programs for emerging Black artists, students, and alumni. Key programming features an HBCU social, exclusive collector’s wine salon, student art previews, IDEAS Salon (innovation, design, art, and equity), chat & chew luncheons, morning panels, art tours of Historic Overtown, book signings, alumni exhibit, and closing night “Basel After Dark” house party. Basel B.A.E – Black Art Experience

Basel B.A.E. (Black Art Experience), now in its ninth year, transforms The Urban into a celebration of contemporary Black creativity — presented by Socialxchange and sponsored by Art of Black Miami, Overtown CRA, and Maker’s Mark. The evening spotlights emerging and established artists in painting, photography, sculpture, fashion, and mixed media. Complex Family Style Food Festival Miami

Motion: Archive and Performance as Preservation

Presented by VIS World and backed by Project Backboard, this activation brings art and basketball together on Najja Moon’s mural court. Expect a shooting contest inspired by the mural’s geometry, limited-edition print giveaways, and a pop-up by the Black Women’s Basketball Museum. The show highlights archival works from Ashley Teamer, Charlyn Griffith Oro, Jeannine Kayembe Oro, Najja Moon, and Naima Green—centering Black women’s legacy in basketball through art, storytelling, and play. NFL Artist Replay: Football x Art Takeover

The NFL returns to Miami Art Week with an expanded gallery showcase curated by Kendall Hurns, featuring artists Calvin Clausell Jr., Kayla Mahaffey, McFlyy, Sentrock, and Sydnie & Haylie Jimenez — plus original works debuting from Bengals cornerback Marco Wilson and NFL Legend Martellus Bennett.
